Oman Sultanate ruled out Sanaa’s connection to the attack that occurred within the Saudi border and resulted in deaths among Bahraini forces.

Omani expert Salem Al-Jahouri said that the Houthis did not officially claim responsibility for the attack, while at the same time downplaying its impact on the peace path his country is leading between Sana’a and Riyadh.

Al-Jahouri indicated in a press statement that the attack occurred within Saudi territory, hinting that it was planned from within the forces deployed on the border.

Many Gulf units, most notably Bahraini and Emirati, are stationed on the Saudi border.

The Emirati forces are accused of orchestrating the recent attack, with objectives including aborting the rapprochement between Riyadh and Sana’a.

Bahrain’s statement regarding the attack did not hold Sana’a responsible, but rather demanded that it arrest those responsible for it.
