Saudi Arabia took control of Yemen’s most important non-oil revenues.

Sources in Al-Wadiah Port reported that the coalition support and support commander, Sultan Al-Baqmi, directed that the revenue file of the Al-Wadiah border port be handed over to a special committee that he personally supervises, under the name “Returning Revenues to Hadramaut.”

Al-Baqami arrived earlier on Saturday at the only land port between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, accompanied by the governor of the GPC in Hadramaut, following the faltering recovery of the port, which is under the control of Maeen’s government.

The land port is one of the most important ports that generate billions for Yemen every month, and its revenues during the first half of this month reached about 22 billion riyals.

The deposit returns are the largest after oil revenues, which continued to be supplied during the war years to accounts in the Saudi National Bank.

The steps to separate revenues from the port of Al-Wadiah are part of Saudi arrangements to subject Hadhramaut to its guardianship in the future.
