Tribes in Marib have escalated their threatening language against the mercenary factions that control the oil and gas-rich governorate and invest their revenues for their personal interests.
This escalation came after the mercenaries’ decision to raise prices on oil derivatives.

The tribal militants issued directives to the drivers of locomotives and trucks, including stopping any transportation of fuel from within the city’s oil fields and companies, and holding violators responsible.

The media had previously revealed that the city of Ma’rib is suffering from a crisis in oil derivatives, which causes influential people to transfer gasoline and diesel, which are being filtered locally for the governorate, to the city of Aden and its neighboring governorates for the purpose of selling them for personal interests.

According to the sources, influential people transfer the governorate’s allocations of oil derivatives to the governorates under occupation and sell them there at high prices, achieving huge financial gains.
