Since last Saturday, the city of Aden in southern Yemen has been suffering from a power outage, as a result of running out of fuel last Saturday in light of the complete absence of the local authority.

The depletion of crude oil operating the PetroMasila station caused it to stop and the exit of 90 megawatts, equivalent to 80% of the electricity system, which was reflected in an increase in outages to 20 hours per day compared to 4 hours of operation.

Power outages doubled the suffering caused by temperatures rising to 38 degrees Celsius, in light of the complete disregard by the government of Maeen or the Governor of Aden to provide fuel.
