educational officials in the southwestern countryside of Taiz were arrested by armed factions affiliated with the coalition.
This comes in the wake of the revelation of sexual crimes against female students of a rural school.
Media sources reported that a unit from the 35th Armored Brigade, which the Islah Party recently took control of, arrested the director of education in the Al-Silw District, Anwar Al-Shanab, and the director of the Saba Complex School for Girls, Munir Raweh, in addition to one of the sheikhs of the Al-Akisha district, called Moaz Hazam.
In the morning, these forces launched a campaign of incursions into Al-Akisha village in Al-Al-Silw, against the backdrop of protests by the people of the area denouncing sexual crimes committed by members of the unit against female students, including harassing female students in the educational complex and molesting them.
