European Union threatened sanctions against the social media platform known as “X”.

This comes in the wake of its owner, Elon Musk, revealing genocide crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

Agence France-Presse published a letter sent by EU Digital Affairs Commissioner Thierry Breton to a former Twitter owner asking him to clarify photos and video clips that he claimed were false and contained misleading information within the European Union.

The message came hours after Musk posted a video clip of an aerial photograph of the process of destroying entire neighborhoods above their residents in the Gaza Strip.

Musk owns one of the most specialized monitoring satellites in the world.

In response to the European Union’s threat, which gave him only 24 hours to clarify, Musk said that he adopts a policy that everything should be open and transparent.

Although the European threats expose its renewed claims about respecting freedom of opinion and expression and human rights, they are part of the campaign launched by the Union to support the Israeli occupation and emerged by opening the door to volunteering to fight and sending military battalions, as French President Manuel Macron hinted at.
