The Shura Council in the capital Sana’a on Wednesday organized a stand of solidarity and support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, which is waging a battle of pride and dignity against the brutal Israeli occupation.

The vigil began by reciting al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of the Israeli aggression against innocent citizens in Gaza and Palestinian cities, praying to Allah to grant a speedy recovery to the wounded.

A statement of the stance announced its full support for everything that was stated in the speech of revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, regarding the readiness to mobilize hundreds of thousands to fight the battle of holy jihad with the Palestinian people against the Zionist enemy, and the missile bombardment, marches, and military options if the US intervenes directly in the aggression against the Palestinian people.

The statement praised the heroic epics being written by the heroes of the Palestinian resistance for the fifth day in a row in front of the Israeli military machine, during which the resistance was able to break the myth of the invincible army in the qualitative and lightning operation (al-Aqsa Flood).

It stressed that the battle waged by the Palestinian people and the heroes of the resistance came as an inevitable result of stopping the criminal actions and violations of the occupation army and settlers from desecrating the blessed al-Aqsa.

The statement pointed out that the battle taking place in the Palestinian territories has opened a new era in the course of the Arab-Israeli conflict, and has revealed the falsity and ugly face of the international community and its identification with Israeli violations and brutal crimes against the Palestinian people.

The council’s statement condemned the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon, and the targeting of mosques, hospitals, and citizens’ homes in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian areas, denouncing the disappointment, the shameful Arab silence, and the positions of some regimes that normalized with the entity to cover up its crimes against the Palestinian people and Islamic sanctities.

It considered the continued American support and support for the Israeli enemy entity as evidence of its complicity in all the crimes committed against the Palestinian people, “and this was embodied in the political statements of the American leadership and the movement of American aircraft carriers to the Middle East.”

The statement of the stance expressed its regret for the positions of the loyalist governments that sided with the Israeli occupation in a shameful way against the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and the heroic actions of the Mujahideen / fighters in Palestine, which places those countries facing a historical and moral responsibility towards the Palestinian cause.

It held the League of Arab States responsible for its silent and shameful stances towards the genocide against the Palestinian people at the hands of the Israeli army and its military machine.

The statement called on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to work to immediately stop all crimes committed by the Zionist entity, lift the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip, impose sanctions on the usurping entity, and prosecute its leadership as war criminals in the International Criminal Court.

The statement praised the role of the resistance axis in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause, calling on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world and the free people of the world to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and support their just cause and their legitimate rights to freedom, independence, return, self-determination, and the establishment of their Palestinian state on the entire Palestinian territory, with Jerusalem as its capital.

Chairman of the Council’s Defense and Security Committee Yahya al-Mahdi delivered a speech during the protest in which he pointed out the brutality and racism used by the American-backed Zionist occupation army against the Palestinian people, and the displacement and hideous massacres that the Palestinians are subjected to by the Zionist occupation.

A poem was also recited by Council member Hadi al-Razami which depicted the heroic epic of the revolution of the Palestinian people and the resistance brigades in the flood of Al-Aqsa and their overwhelming anger in the face of aggression to restore stolen rights and defend the sanctities in Palestine.

At the conclusion of the protest, it was announced that financial support would be provided by the Presidency and members of the Council to the Palestinian people and resistance to enable them to continue the struggle and confront Zionist arrogance.
