The Al-Aqsa Flood Open Forum to support Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif and the Palestinian cause was launched in the yard of the Faculty of Commerce at Sana’a University on Tuesday as part of the projects and activities of the Supreme National Campaign to support Al-Aqsa.

At the opening, the President of Sana’a University, Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, confirmed that the Al-Aqsa Flood Open Forum, in which an elite group of academics and university students participate, aims to focus on the daily crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians, children, and women in Gaza and highlight the sacrifices and heroic resistance operations in the face of aggression.

Abbas pointed out that the forum, which will continue on a permanent and daily basis, would enable researchers and specialists in all specializations and departments to address the Palestinian issue and the crimes of the usurping Zionist entity from different aspects, each within their field.

He stressed the need for active participation in raising awareness and clarifying the danger of the Zionist enemy, its conspiracies, plans, and colonial ambitions for the nation.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Commerce and Economics, Dr. Meshal Al-Rifi, explained the role relied on by scientific institutions towards the Palestinian issue, as it is a central issue.

He pointed to the important role of educational and intellectual institutions in clarifying the reality of the Arab conflict with the Zionist enemy and developing visions of possible scenarios and methods of long-term confrontation, most notably the use of the weapon of economic boycott of US-Zionist products and finding possible alternatives.

In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Information, Dr. Omar Daer Al-Bukhaiti, reviewed the role of the media and social media networks in standing with the Palestinian cause, supporting and assisting the resistance in Gaza, demonstrating its heroic operations, and exposing the scandals of the Zionist system and its brutal massacres and genocide against defenseless civilians in Gaza.
