Ghazi Hamad, the member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) praised the Yemeni heroics, saying the brothers in Yemen are determined and have the will to fight with the Palestinian people.
This came during his speech to al-Mayadeen, pointing out that he cannot say that there is an approach to agreeing on a truce in the Gaza Strip.
Hamad pointed out that Prime Minister of the Zionist enemy Benjamin Netanyahu claims that he is working to liberate prisoners held by the Hamas movement, but he does not agree with any ideas in this regard.
Hamad added Netanyahu is the main obstacle to finding solutions to the issue of prisoners with (Hamas) explaining that “Israel” does not seem interested or serious in reaching a deal on the issue of prisoners.
He continued saying the Palestinian resistance informed the mediators of its readiness to deal with the issue of prisoners with a high degree of clarity and has specific demands, pointing out that what is happening in the field is being controlled and with great ability by al-Qassam Brigades.
Hamad said “I challenge the occupation to display pictures proving its control over leaders from Hamas.”
He stressed that the entire Palestinian people reject the American position on the issue of the future of Gaza or elsewhere.
Hamad also pointed out that the position of the Palestinian Authority must be strong and firm, and it must say that governing Gaza is a Palestinian matter, saying “We have the ability and power to thwart the American plan.”
