The Human Rights Office in Taiz province condemned sniping crime of the young man, Ali Nashwan Abdel-Bari Modhesh, by aggression mercenaries in Al-Tabisha’a area of Sabr Al-Mawadim District.

The office explained in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that Modhesh, 16 years old, was subjected to a direct sniping operation yesterday, Tuesday, by the aggression’s mercenaries while he was on a farm in the Al-Tabisha’a area. He was taken to a hospital in Al-Hawban before he died from his injury.

The office indicated that crime is an extension of a series of crimes committed by the aggression mercenaries against citizens, holding the mercenaries fully criminally responsible for these repeated crimes.

He called on international and local human rights organizations to monitor and document these crimes, work to reduce them, and prosecute their perpetrators so that they can be brought to justice.
