The activities of the international conference to activate the weapon of the economic boycott of American and Israeli goods in Hodeidah province began on Sunday, with broad official and academic participation.
The Mufti of Yemen, Scholar Shams Al-Din Sharaf Al-Din, stressed in a speech during the conference that “the peoples must take action and not wait for anything from the treasonous leaders to activate the boycott weapon.”
He affirmed that there is no excuse today for Muslims not to support their brothers in Gaza, confront the arrogant forces, and boycott.
“We cannot imagine any good for the nation from the Jews and Christians at all,” the Mufti of Yemen said, adding that today the masks of falsehood have been revealed from “those who claim to belong to Islam.”
He continued: “We have not seen such ugliness as what is happening in Gaza, including brutal beatings and killings of women and children by the Zionists, with American, British, and French support.”
For his part, the Governor of Hodeidah, Major General Muhammad Ayyash Quhim, indicated that Hodeidah’s hosting of this international conference comes within the integration of Yemen’s roles in supporting the Palestinian people.
