The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) firmly expressed its solidarity with Beirut-based Al Mayadeen Media Network in the face of a recent Zionist attack targeting the channel.

This assault includes the decision to ban Al Mayadeen Network across various platforms – as a channel, website, radio station, and on social media. Additionally, the occupying forces confiscated the network’s office equipment in both Occupied Palestine and the West Bank.

Al Mayadeen Media Network is an independent pan-Arab satellite channel headquartered in Beirut with widespread viewership across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and certain regions of Europe.

In an official statement, the YMU characterizes this Zionist attack as a testament to Al-Mayadeen’s influential standing against the usurping and occupying entity. The Union asserts that rather than weakening Al-Mayadeen Channel, such assaults only serve to bolster its strength.

The statement emphasizes that the relentless attacks by the Zionist entity on media and press, coupled with the atrocities in Gaza, unveil the true nature of this terrorist entity, which seemingly knows no bounds.

Highlighting the open terrorism perpetrated by the Zionist entity against media and press, the statement draws attention to the simultaneous persistence of brutal crimes in the Gaza Strip.

The YMU called on all media institutions and international organizations to confront this terrorist entity, bring its actions to light in the eyes of the global public, expose its brutal crimes, and mobilize international solidarity against it.
