Hezbollah announced on Saturday morning the downing of ‘Israeli’ Hermes 450 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a surface-to-air missile over Galilee Panhandle.
“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance announces the downing of an enemy “Israeli” Hermes 450 aircraft, a multi-mission combat drone, by a surface-to-air missile launched by its fighters at 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Its debris was seen falling over the Finger [panhandle] of Al-Jalilee area,” Hezbollah said in a statement.
The border between Lebanon and “Israel” has been witnessing tension and intermittent exchange of fire and missiles between the occupation army and Hezbollah’s fighters since the start of the confrontation between Hamas and the Israeli occupation forces on October 7.
As a result, most of the villages on the border strip in southern Lebanon witnessed the displacement of a large number of residents due to Zionist air raids in the region.
