Jordan denied, on Sunday, that Israel had been able to break the Yemeni siege in Bab al-Mandab.
The Jordanian Ministries of Transport and Industry described in a statement what is being circulated by the Hebrew media about the start of a land bridge between the Emirates and the occupied territories via Saudi Arabia and Jordan as “false,” while the Jordanian government spokesman confirmed that his country will not be a bridge to Israel.
Israeli media reported the arrival of the first shipment from the land bridge linking Israel to the UAE via Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Although the UAE and Israel signed an agreement a few days ago to break the siege, the timing of the talk about breaking the Yemeni siege indicates the occupation’s attempt to escape the pressures of the Yemeni siege and its consequences, especially since it comes days after an Israeli military parade by talking about sending battleships to Bab al-Mandab to escort ships.
