Activists revealed an increase in the number of families listed below the poverty line in the occupied southern regions.

Activists published a video recording telling the tragedies and suffering of citizens in the occupied southern regions and the difficult living situation they suffer as a result of the policy of impoverishment and starvation by the occupiers, invaders and their mercenaries, which prompted some of them to sell their personal belongings of clothes and household items to provide a living.

The recording, published by human rights activist Amal Souqi, was filmed a few days ago in the middle of the public market in occupied Kriter, Aden, showing people resorting to selling personal clothes and women’s abayas in order to save money to buy their own food.

Souqi said that, due to the current economic conditions, many families are resorting to selling their personal belongings.
