His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, participated today ,Wednesday,in the sixth scientific conference of the Military Heart Center, which is organized by Defence Ministry, the Chief of the General Staff, and the Department of Military Medical Services – the Military Heart Center – and will continue until next Thursday.
The President congratulated the participants for holding such conferences that provide cardiologists throughout Yemen with what is modern and advanced in this field and contribute to enabling students in the various courses of this important specialty to achieve higher academic achievement.
He thanked the leadership of Defense Ministry , the Chief of the General Staff, and the Medical Services Department, including the Heart Center, for organizing the qualitative scientific conference that serves the public interest and the scientific field by examining the latest developments in this specialty.
President Al-Mashat pointed out that the specific scientific medical conference includes scientific papers and external participation from sisterly and friendly countries to enrich it with interventions and discussions that contribute to improving the services provided to heart patients.
He said, “With this conference, you confirm the national unity of the Republic of Yemen and this humanitarian profession, which is not hindered by the obstacles of distance, ideologies and restrictions imposed by arrogant and tyrannical powers.”
President Al-Mashat noted the interaction of the participants from the various provinces of the Republic and their colleagues from brotherly and friendly countries. He added, “This is what pleases us and supports us, and we welcome them, dear guests, to the upcoming conference.”
He considered holding such conferences a scientific push to catch up and keep pace with medical development in the world in this specialty and field. He said, “We welcome everything that would provide distinguished medical services to citizens in various provinces.”
