Member of the National Delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ajri, has clarified that the British stance regarding Yemen’s naval operations aligns with that of the United States, emphasizing that this alignment is not a recent development.
He elucidated that the American options in the Red Sea are restricted due to their acknowledgment of being entangled in a moral predicament arising from the egregious crimes in Gaza. Additionally, there is international concern about the escalation of the conflict.
Al-Ajri highlighted that the recent warning issued by Britain aims to impede Yemeni army operations. Nonetheless, Yemen’s response affirms its steadfast position, which will only alter if there are shifts in the stances of Israel, the United States, and Britain concerning Gaza.
Furthermore, the National Delegation member noted that both China and Russia do not view the ongoing operations in the Red Sea independently from the unfolding events in Gaza.
