Yemen’s Parliament has reaffirmed its support for the statements made by the Leader of the Revolution regarding confronting continuous American attacks on the capabilities of the Yemeni people.

Members of the Parliament, in their discussions, pointed out the irony of the US designating its adversaries as terrorists while being the head of evil and terrorism worldwide.

They emphasized placing the Israeli occupation entity and the US and British regimes at the top of the global terrorism list, asserting that they will reap the fruits of their evils and the crimes of genocide committed against the Palestinian people.

The Parliament reiterated Sanaa’s commitment to maritime security, clarifying that the targeting is limited to Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports. They accused the US of seeking, through its alleged alliance, to militarize the Red Sea and threaten international navigation security.

It commended the European Parliament’s decision to vote for a ceasefire in Gaza and expedite the delivery of humanitarian aid to the strip.

The Parliament described the resolution as a step in the right direction to end the suffering of the Palestinian people, aligned with Yemen’s stance from the beginning. However, they blamed American and British arrogance for obstructing its realization. The US and British arrogance swiftly spread false claims of threatening international navigation security in the Red Sea to cover up their war crimes and genocidal acts against Palestinian civilians, leading their foolish aggression against our country.

It urged the European Parliament to take practical steps to support the International Court of Justice’s decision and promote the European initiative to protect the Palestinian people. They stressed the importance of serious efforts to halt the repercussions of Zionist settler violence in the West Bank and to stop the forced displacement of Palestinian civilians from the Gaza Strip.

The Parliament highly appreciated the principled stances of free voices in the European Parliament condemning the reckless American and British Zionist actions in the region. They criticized the lack of positive engagement with the peace requirements since the beginning of the Israeli aggression.
