Israeli media confirmed, on Sunday, that an Israeli naval vessel caught fire off the coast of occupied Nahariya on the Mediterranean Sea.

Nahariya residents published pictures of the Israeli naval vessel, noting that the ship from which black smoke was billowing could be seen as belonging to the Israeli navy and called “Dvor.”

It is not yet known what caused the burning of the Israeli ship, and whether it was the result of a direct attack on it, especially since it comes under a Yemeni blockade of Israeli shipping, and a number of occupation ships have previously been bombed along the Red and Arabian Seas.
