Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned the US-British aggression’s targeting of civilians and civilian objects in the capital Sana’a and several provinces.
The ministry explained in a statement that these airstrikes resulted in the death of one citizen and the injury of eight others.
It pointed out that the US-British aggression’s airstrikes on the district of Maqbana in Taiz province resulted in the death of one citizen and the injury of six others, confirming that two citizens were injured due to the aggression’s airstrikes on the Nahda neighborhood in the district of Thawra in the capital Sana’a.
The statement mentioned that the targeting of civilians in Yemen by the United States and Britain is an extension of their crimes in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The US-British fighter jets targeted the capital Sana’a and the provinces of Sana’a, Hajjah, and Taiz with 22 airstrikes early on Sunday. According to security sources, the airstrikes were distributed in the capital Sana’a with 12 airstrikes, three of which targeted a pesticide factory in the Nahda neighborhood in the Thawra district, causing a fire. Additionally, the Atan area was targeted with six airstrikes, and the Nahdayn area in the Al-Sabeen district was targeted with three airstrikes.
The US-British aircraft also targeted the district of Hamdan in Sana’a province with two airstrikes, three airstrikes on the district of Bani Hashish in Sana’a province, and two airstrikes on the Al-Jar farms in the Abs district in Hajjah province, in addition to two airstrikes on the telecommunications network in the Hayfan district, as well as an airstrike targeting the telecommunications network in the Maqbana district in Taiz province.
