Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced that it had identified dozens of spies affiliated with the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad) in 28 countries, including Tehran.

In a statement on Friday, the ministry announced what it described as the “largest combined intelligence and counter-intelligence operation” against the Israeli regime’s espionage and security organizations.

“In addition to intelligence and security findings, the obtaining of information related to some of the most important hidden military installations, arms factories, and non-military strategic industries of the occupying Zionist regime is among the notable achievements of this large and multi-stage operation by the Ministry,” the statement read.

The ministry stated that several spies in Tehran and several provinces of the country have been identified and subjected to legal actions or placed under security monitoring.

Additionally, several Iranian spies residing abroad have been identified, and the decision regarding each of them will be made in accordance with their circumstances and the level of relations of the Ministry with the intelligence agencies of the countries of their residence.
