The city of Taiz, which is under occupation, witnessed a partial strike by shops in protest against the collapse of the local currency and rising prices.

Media sources said that a number of shops in the city closed their doors, while the markets witnessed a decline in commercial activity.

It is noteworthy that Taiz Merchants Forum has called for a partial strike during the next three days, denouncing the continued deterioration of the currency and the rise in prices, in light of the silence and helplessness of the mercenary government.

The city of Aden witnessed a similar strike by merchants and banks, coinciding with the deterioration of living conditions for citizens who find it difficult to buy goods as their prices rise.
