Wounded Foundation Ships Large Supply of Medical Equipment to Fifth Military Region

Governor of Hodeidah, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, handed over a large quantity of medicines, supplies, and medical equipment to the Fifth Military Region, provided by the Wounded Foundation, within the project of “ the Battle of Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad.”

This initiative, in cooperation with supporting companies, at a cost of 41 million and 306 thousand riyals, aims to improve drug supply opportunities for members and heroes of the Fifth Military Region.

During the inauguration, Governor Qahim praised the Wounded Foundation and its national humanitarian role.

He said that their help is required to unite and unify people in efforts to confront the US-British aggression, which is an extension of the Saudi-Emirati aggression on Yemen.

He considered the delivery of medicines and medical supplies as an example of solidarity that reflected the popular and official stance of the Yemeni people.

He affirmed that the Yemeni people today reaffirm their stance with ‘The Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad’ to support their Palestinian brethren in the Gaza Strip, who have been subjected to one of the worst war crimes and genocides in recent history, amid Arab and international silence, abandonment, and complicity.

The Governor emphasized the importance of such medical projects that embody a sense of responsibility to their brothers.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Halawi, Deputy Director of the Public Health and Population Office in the province, praised the initiative and support of the Wounded Foundation for the military medical sector in the Fifth Region and its assistance in improving medical services for its members.

Dr. Al-Halawi explained that this gesture represents the noble humanitarian goal of taking initiative to enhance resilience and provide essential goods, especially in the health and medical field, to the members of the Fifth Military Region who are protecting the nation’s security and confronting the plans of Yemen’s enemies on the western coast.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ali Al-Dhahaini, the Executive Director of Wounded Foundation, explained that delivering a quantity of medicines, supplies, and medical equipment to the Fifth Region is part of the annual efforts carried out by the foundation to provide pharmaceutical and medical supplies to health facilities in the province and related entities according to the priority of needs.

“The project reflects the pride and glory of the Yemeni people in the heroic role played by the armed forces in supporting the people of Gaza and Palestinian resistance,” he said , adding that the project will include many initiatives and medical contributions in this regard.
