Supreme Political Council reaffirms support for Palestine, opposition to Zionist aggression

The Supreme Political Council, chaired by Yemen’s President Mahdi Al-Mashat, convened to review the latest local, regional, and international developments on Monday.

During the session, the Council praised the accomplishments of the Yemeni Armed Forces and their successful military operations in support of Palestine, fueled by widespread backing from the people across the Republic’s provinces.

President Al-Mashat provided the Council with updates on military and political developments, communications, and messages received by Yemen, emphasizing its unwavering and principled support for the Palestinians and the populace of Gaza.

The Supreme Political Council reiterated the steadfast stance of Yemen, pledging not to relent until Zionist aggression against the people of Gaza ceases, the blockade is lifted, and essential supplies are provided.

The Council emphasized Yemen’s commitment to reciprocity with hostile nations, adhering to international law, including the classification of hostile states and the role of the Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center. It applauded the stance of riparian countries for not aligning with American trends in supporting the Zionist entity.

During the meeting, the Council urged all Yemeni citizens to continue their weekly demonstrations in the capital, Sana’a, and other provinces, citing their significant impact in thwarting enemy conspiracies.

Furthermore, the Council reaffirmed its readiness to implement the Marib Initiative and President Mahdi Al-Mashat’s initiative for Taiz province, viewing them as essential measures to ensure citizen movement and alleviate their suffering.
