Saudi-led mercenaries besiege joint committee to open Sana’a-Dhalea-Aden road

Mercenaries loyal to the Saudi-led aggression coalition besieged on Tuesday the presidential and military committee affiliated with Sana’a, which is charged with coordinating the opening of the Sana’a-Dhalea-Aden road.

The head of the committee, the Minister of Public Works and Roads of the Sanaa government, Ghaleb Mutlaq, stated that the pro-coalition militants surrounded the presidential and military committee in Al-Zaylah area in Murais in Dhalea province and targeted them with all types of weapons.

He explained that the presidential and military committees, accompanied by dozens of notables and social figures, had arrived in the Murais area as part of coordination and arrangements to open the road, but the coalition militants prevented them, seeking to thwart any efforts to open the road.

Mutlaq appealed to all parties and organizations to intervene and lift the siege on the presidential and military committee, sheikhs and notables, in order to preserve their lives.
