The leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, said that there is an escalation in the conflict with the American, British, and Zionist enemies in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik confirmed in a televised speech on Thursday evening that naval military operations had reached unprecedented extents.

He noted that the Yemeni armed forces began carrying out military operations to prevent ships linked to the Israeli enemy from crossing the Indian Ocean and from South Africa towards the Good Hope Road.

“We announce that we are moving to prevent the crossing of ships linked to the Israeli enemy or heading to [Israel] through the Indian Ocean and from South Africa towards the Cape of Good Hope.”

He announced that the recent operations in Yemen reached unprecedented extents, with three operations in the Indian Ocean, noting that the total number of ships and barges targeted amounted to 73.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik affirmed that this advanced step comes in light of American intransigence and the escalation of aggression, which resulted in the expansion of the conflict, the widening of the circle of war and events, and the tense situation in the region in general.

Regarding the Arab and Islamic countries, Sayyid Abdul-Malik affirmed that Arab countries are working to criminalize the Palestinian resistance and are still arresting some for supporting it.

“There is abuse and distortion of the Palestinian resistance and their jihad in some Arab countries by including them on terrorist lists,” he said.

“Arab countries do not change their position on the resistance after it was previously included on terrorist lists,” the leader al-Houthi added. “The shameful position and continued neglect of most Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the tragedy of the Palestinian people has consequences and sanctions.”

Sayyid Abdul-Malik explained that Muslims have a religious responsibility towards the Palestinian people and towards the sanctities in Palestine, most notably the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He noted that the Israeli enemy poses a real danger to the national security of Muslims in all their affairs and interests.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik emphasized that “American and British insistence and continuation of aggression on our country, supporting the Israeli enemy, will not stop our operations or reduce our capabilities.”

“Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege on Gaza continue. The only thing that will stop our naval operations is the end of aggression and siege on Gaza.”

He called on Yemeni people to go out in a million-person protest on Friday in Sana’a and the rest of the provinces in solidarity with Palestinian people.
