the Indian Ocean witnessed a new naval operation, a few days after Yemen announced the expansion of its blockade of the Israeli occupation.
The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority reported that it had received a report of an accident 160 nautical miles southeast of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman.
The Authority did not clarify the nature of the incident, but media reports spoke of an attack on a ship that was likely to be Israeli or linked to it.
The new attack is one of a series of operations that have escalated over the past few days, which followed the announcement by the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to expand Yemeni operations from the Arab and Red Bahrain to the Indian Ocean.
