The Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation and Water and Environment in Sana’a said that they followed what was raised about the entry of a shipment of carcinogenic pesticides, which included a lot of false and unscientific information about the nature of that shipment and its uses.
The two ministries confirmed in a joint statement that no shipments of pesticides imported from the Zionist entity had been entered and that they would not allow this at all.
The statement pointed out that the document that was published is related to delays in merchant transactions and was issued by an entity not specialized in classifying materials.
In the statement, the two ministries explained that the news being circulated on social media sites about carcinogenic Israeli pesticides is incorrect. They called on the media and activists to investigate accuracy and credibility and to obtain information from their official sources.
