Groups of young people defied the UAE-backed Transitional Council in the city of Aden, under its control, raising flags of Yemeni unity, despite the threat of the transitional forces to suppress any celebration of Unity Day.
Sources reported that hundreds of young people roamed the streets of Al-Mualla and Al-Buraiqa districts and a number of Aden districts to celebrate Unity Day.
They Added that the march included dozens of cars bearing the unity flag.
They Pointed out the deployment of military vehicles in a number of city streets followed the marches celebrating Unity Day.
The spontaneous youth exit in Aden came at a time when the President and members of the Presidential Council did not dare to raise any flag of unity in Ma’ashiq Palace or organize a celebration commemorating its achievement.
