Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, affirmed Friday, that the Aqsa Storm operation and Yemen’s supportive stance will reshape the region.

During his participation in the million-man march held this afternoon in Al-Sabeen Square in support of Gaza, Al-Ruwaishan told Al-Masirah correspondent: Anyone who examines the history of the Aqsa Storm operation will find two main events that changed the strategic, military, and political understanding of the Middle East entirely.

“The first event was the October 7, 2023 “Aqsa Storm” operation in Palestine, and the second is Yemen’s stance, which supported the Palestinian cause and succeeded in disrupting international navigation routes,” he explained.

Al-Ruwaishan continued: These two events will be a permanent change in all the strategies put forward by the Americans. Consequently, the Americans will have to abandon their previous strategies and start looking for new ones. The geopolitical map of the region is no longer the same.

He added: Many mocked the Yemeni stance in its early stages, but today they realize that words were followed by actions.

Al-Ruwaishan pointed out that Yemeni crowds come out weekly without coercion and without compensation to support the Palestinian cause, noting that Arab and Islamic peoples support the Palestinian cause, but in many countries, they are shackled by the repression of regimes that either openly or secretly normalize relations.

He noted that the Yemeni people distinguished themselves by having a leader who, with his wisdom and acumen, was able to mobilize them to support the Palestinian cause.

Al-Ruwaishan emphasized that the Arab peoples want to support the Palestinian people, but the Arab regimes are subservient to the Americans and the British.
