Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi acknowledged that the escalation of Yemeni naval operations is linked to the Israeli escalation in the Palestinian city of Rafah.
Wang Yi said in press statements, “The tensions in the Red Sea highlight the broader impact of the conflict in Gaza.”
He pointed out that the immediate priority is a quick ceasefire in Gaza to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe and limit the regional impact of the conflict.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the implementation of 6 military operations on 6 ships in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red and Arabian Seas as part of expanding the fourth phase of escalation against the Zionist entity.
