The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, carried out a qualitative operation against forces of Israeli occupation east of Rafah city.
“In a landing operation behind the [enemy] lines, Al-Qassam fighters breached the temporary fence and attacked the headquarters of the enemy brigade operating in Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, Al-Qassam Brigades said in a brief statement on Thursday.
This announcement came after the enemy forces admitted earlier that a soldier was killed and several soldiers were injured in Palestinian resistance operations in Rafah.
For its part, the Zionist enemy army acknowledged the death of one of its soldiers during an operation by a cell near the border fence in the Kerem Abu Salem area east of Rafah at dawn of Thursday , where a clash ensued involving an exchange of gunfire.
The enemy army claimed to have killed three of the attackers.
