The Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned the ongoing American-British aggression against Yemen and the violation of its sovereignty. This aggression, according to the Ministry, is an attempt to divert attention from the largest genocide in the world being perpetrated against civilians in Gaza and Rafah, with the support of the United States and Britain.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry explained that the continuous bombing of Yemen by American and British forces, along with their support for the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza and Rafah, constitutes a severe violation of the charters and principles of the United Nations. This, in turn, escalates tensions and instability in the region, posing a threat to international peace and security.

The Ministry emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure in several Yemeni provinces extends the crimes of the American-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people. It underscores the unified nature of these crimes with those in Palestine, perpetrated by the Zionist entity and its allies — America, Britain, and their regional collaborators, who are acting with complete disregard for international norms.

Furthermore, the statement criticized the United States as the primary sponsor of global terrorism, highlighting its violations of international laws, regulations, and human rights. It condemned the massacres and atrocities committed against civilians, the suppression of dissent even within its borders, and its disregard for international institutions such as the United Nations and international courts.

The Ministry accused the US of enabling further crimes by supporting the Zionist entity in its acts of genocide and forced displacement, obstructing international efforts aimed at intervention.

The Ministry reiterated the legitimacy of the efforts undertaken by the Yemeni leadership, the Yemeni people, and all supporters worldwide in solidarity with the Palestinian people. These efforts aim to halt the ongoing genocide and suffocating siege imposed on the women and children of Gaza.

It emphasized that international conventions uphold the right to self-defense and the protection of civilians, rights that are equally applicable to the Yemeni people in responding to American-British aggression.

The Ministry called upon nations of the Arab world and beyond to take a firm stance against this aggression, which flagrantly violates Arab sovereignty, and urged practical measures to halt Zionist aggression against Gaza, now ongoing for more than 266 days.

Finally, the Ministry called upon Arab and Islamic media to fulfill their responsibility by exposing the crimes committed by the Zionist entity and its Western supporters.

It urged the international community and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their legal and humanitarian duties towards the crises and violations facing Yemen and Palestine, demanding accountability for those responsible for these crimes and urging an end to American and British interventions in the region.
