Jahaf: Over 5,000 Yemeni pilgrims travel to Mecca through Sana’a International Airport

About  5,166 Yemeni pilgrims were transported through Sana’a International Airport to the holy lands over six days via Yemen Airways plane,  Khalil Jahaf, the acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Airways in Sana’a said.

Jahaf explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that 740 pilgrims left Sana’a International Airport last Tuesday on the first batch of flights, 637 pilgrims in the second batch, and 1,100 pilgrims in the third batch.

He pointed out that 822 pilgrims departed as part of the fourth batch last Friday, and Yemen Airways transported 1,093 pilgrims in the fifth batch, while on Sunday, 774 pilgrims left the  Sana’a airport on the sixth batch of flights.

Jahaf indicated that in the coming days, 3,034 more pilgrims will be transported on 15 flights, out of a total of 8,200 pilgrims.

He confirmed that the pilgrims are receiving great attention from all parties, with all services and facilities provided, simplifying travel procedures and completing transactions in record time in accordance with international airport standards.
