Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hindi, confirmed that “Netanyahu’s position is that he wants to continue war and aggression.”
Al-Hindi said in a statement on Al Jazeera on Monday: “A deal to retrieve the prisoners can only be reached by stopping the aggression and a complete withdrawal.”
Al-Handi added, “Netanyahu does not want to stop the war for political and ideological reasons. He can be pressured, especially on the battlefield.”
“Israel will be drained and will not solve its problems even if it moves to the third phase,” he said, adding that “The Zionist entity will not achieve any of its goals as long as it insists on continuing its operations and not withdrawing.”
“What is decided on the [battle] field will be reflected in the negotiations and politics,” he stressed.
He said: ” We continue to negotiate and have not closed its door. The obstacle is Netanyahu’s delusion that he is achieving success.”
