Palestinian territories in the West Bank have witnessed a surge in resistance activities over the past 24 hours, with reports of 16 incidents targeting Israeli military forces and settlers.

 

According to a statement issued by the Palestinian Information Center “Maata” on Thursday, the operations included five armed clashes, multiple confrontations at six different locations, the deployment and detonation of explosive devices resulting in damage to an Israeli military vehicle, and a demonstration.

 

In Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, clashes erupted between Palestinian revolutionary youth and Israeli forces. Meanwhile, in Deir Abu Mishal, residents mourned the death of Ghassan Gharib Zahran, killed by Israeli gunfire.

 

Violent clashes ensued in Dheisheh camp, south of Bethlehem, as Palestinian fighters engaged with Israeli soldiers who had entered the area.

 

Further confrontations occurred in Azzun, east of Qalqilya, where tensions escalated between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces.

 

In Tulkarm and its surrounding areas, resistance fighters targeted Israeli forces with gunfire, managing to detonate an explosive device that damaged an enemy vehicle.

 

In Nablus, clashes erupted in Beit Furik, Yatma, and Osrin. An explosive device targeted an Israeli military vehicle, and resistance fighters also engaged a drone over Al-Ain camp.

 

Near the Salem military checkpoint west of Jenin, Palestinian fighters engaged in intense clashes with Israeli soldiers, eventually withdrawing safely after the confrontation.

 

Lastly, in Ya’bad, confrontations included the deployment of explosive devices aimed at disrupting Israeli military activities.
