Many UAE-backed Transitional Council forces were killed and wounded as a result of an attack by gunmen believed to be from Al-Qaeda in Shabwa Governorate, southern Yemen.
Sources said that Al-Qaeda members bombed the Al-Qalaa camp of the Shabwa Defense Forces in Al-Musaina, Upper Egypt District. Adding that the elements targeted reinforcements that were on their way to the camp with an explosive device, killing three and wounding 7.
The Islah Party threatened to make the governorate its incinerator after the Council forces took control of Shabwa and expelled the party’s forces from it.
The areas under occupation, especially Abyan and Shabwa, witness almost daily fighting between the mercenary tools of aggression.
