On Monday evening, Right-wing protesters broke into the Israeli military court building at the army’s base in Beit Lid in central Israel to protest the arrest of soldiers accused of sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee from Gaza held in the Israeli Sde Teiman prison.
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth described the events at the military base in the Beit Lid area near Tel Aviv last night, where thousands of settlers stormed the base, as extremely dangerous and a threat to the future of the army.
