A British military commander expressed his amazement at the ballistic missiles launched by the Yemeni forces to target a warship he commands.

The commander of the British warship “HMS Diamond”, Pete Evans, confirmed in an interview with the “BFBS Forces News” channel that Sana’a possesses very fast ballistic missiles that are difficult to intercept and shoot down. “Evans” claimed that the warship he commands shot down one of Sanaa’s missiles, saying: “Shooting down the ballistic missile is the most prominent event during my mission.”

He added: “I mean that this type of missile is incredibly fast, and it is very difficult to deal with successfully.

The armed forces had revealed a locally manufactured hypersonic missile, the Hatem 2, which is characterized by speed, advanced technology, accuracy, and reaches long ranges.
