The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), confirmed that their forces were able to ambush a convoy of Israeli military vehicles east of Rafah in southern Gaza.
“Al-Qassam fighters successfully trapped a convoy of Zionist military vehicles in a pre-prepared ambush along the supply line of the invading forces east of Rafah city, ” the group said in a statement on Monday.
“Our fighters were able to successfully target 3 military bulldozers of the D9 type and 2 Merkava tanks as they passed through the eastern George intersection, using Al-Yassin 105 shells and guerilla-explosive devices,” the statement read.
Palestinian resistance factions continue their heroic operations against enemy forces in various areas of infiltration in Gaza, inflicting significant losses in equipment and manpower.
