President of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a issued on Saturday the decision No. (21) for 2024, to appoint several judges to the Supreme Judicial Council and the Supreme Court.
The decision approved the appointment of judges as follows:
1- Judge Abdul-Mumin Abdul-Qader Ali Shuja’ al-Din as President of the Supreme Judicial Council.
2- Judge Abdul-Samad Yahiya Mohammed al-Mutawakkil as President of the Supreme Court.
3- Judge Abdul-Salam Hassan Hussein Zaid al-Houthi as Attorney General.
4- Judge Marwan Mohammed Ali al-Mahqari as Chairman of Judicial Inspection Authority.
5- Judge Hashem Ahmed Abdullah Aqabat as Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Council.
6- Judge Alawi Sahl Ibrahim Aqeel as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council.
7- Judge Ahmed Abdullah Ahmed al-Azani as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council.
8- Judge Abdul-Wahhab Yahiya Abdullah al-Mahbashi as a member of the Supreme Judicial Council.
