Fierce clashes erupted on Friday with various types of weapons between members of the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias loyal to the UAE in the center of the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
According to local sources in the city, the clashes broke out around the sheep market in the Al-Mansoura area, leaving at least one wounded militant behind, without knowing the reasons for the clashes.
The sources reported that the militants withdrew from the area amidst a state of panic and terror among the residents who did not recognize the identity of the militants or the factions to which they belong.
Aden has been witnessing security disturbances that have terrified citizens on a daily basis since the beginning of 2016, due to the spread of regional factions loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
