The oil derivatives crisis continues for the second week in a row in the city of Marib, northeastern Yemen.
Residents reported long lines of cars in front of the oil company station in the city of Marib to fill up with fuel.
They confirmed waiting for long hours to fill up with only 40 liters, which is the amount allowed to be filled into their cars.
The Marib Authority, affiliated with the Islah Party, did not issue any clarification to justify the crisis, especially since the Safer refinery produces 10,000 barrels per day that go to the southern governorates to be sold at double prices, and their value is deposited into the accounts of the party’s leaders in Turkey and a number of world capitals.
