A girl child, from Khan Yunis City in the southern Gaza Strip, died on Saturday, due to severe malnutrition and lack of proper medical care, bringing the number of children who died of hunger to 37.
Medical sources at the Nasser Hospital said that the child, Yaqeen al-Astal, died as a result of malnutrition, dehydration, and lack of supplies.
Recently, UNICEF said that over 50,000 children in Gaza suffer from acute malnutrition and need lifesaving treatment.
