High-level security sources in Lebanon revealed that the Iranian ambassador to Beirut was injured in the Al-Wajh area as a result of the explosion of the pager device that was in his possession.
The sources indicated that the Iranian ambassador was transferred to Al-Rassoul Hospital, while the severity of his injury is not yet known.
