Explosions rocked the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday morning.
Activists on social media circulated pictures of an explosion on board a cargo ship while it was passing there.
Although the details and identity of the ship are not yet known, experts have suggested that the ship is linked to companies involved in attempts to break the naval blockade imposed by Yemen on the Israeli occupation.
The operation is one of a series of Yemeni operations approaching two hundred since last November.
The targeting of the new ship came with the completion of the towing operation of the Greek oil tanker “Sunion”, which was targeted by Yemeni forces several weeks ago due to its company’s involvement in trying to break the naval blockade on the occupation.
Targeting ships involved in trying to break the Yemeni blockade on Israeli navigation comes within the operations of the fourth phase of escalation, which includes preventing navigation to the ports of the occupation in the Mediterranean Sea.
