The president of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammad Al-Mashat, congratulated the Rocketry Forces on their success in striking a military target in what is known as “Tel Aviv” with the Palestine 2 hypersonic missile.
In a speech marking the 10th anniversary of the glorious September 21 Revolution, President Al-Mashat noted that the missile bypassed and penetrated all layers of American, British, and Israeli defense systems.
He affirmed that the coming days are full of surprises, and stated, “Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege on Gaza persist.” He also reiterated Yemen’s unwavering and principled stance in support of the oppressed Palestinian people until the occupied land is liberated from Zionist occupation.
“No power in the world will deter us from this decision, regardless of the cost or the challenges,” he added.
President Al-Mashat emphasized Yemen’s full commitment to achieving a just and honorable peace, calling on the leadership of the aggression to stop this senseless war, as it has become clear that its objectives cannot be achieved.
“The only solution is to approach peace with sincere intentions, lift the siege, and meet the requirements for peace, which include paying the salaries of Yemenis from their national resources, fully opening Yemen’s airports and ports, releasing all prisoners, compensating for damages, and the complete withdrawal of all foreign forces.
President Al-Mashat warned against the risks of maintaining a state of neither war nor peace, while prolonging hostilities against the Yemeni people, tightening the siege, and starving them by obstructing salary payments.
He stressed that the patience of the Yemeni people will not last, and they will be forced to claim their rights through legitimate force, as Yemen possesses suitable means of deterrence to achieve this.
He congratulated the Yemeni people on their national holidays, urging everyone to unite, protect the internal front, and double their efforts to achieve self-sufficiency and build a just state that meets the aspirations of all Yemenis.
Al-Mashat pointed out that the process of governmental and judicial reform is a continuation of the principles and goals of the September 21 Revolution, which the aggression has tried to obstruct for ten years. This process will continue until the Yemeni people experience its intended results.
In another regard, President Al-Mashat condemned the immoral attack committed by the brutal Zionist enemy in the Tuesday and Wednesday massacres against the Lebanese people, expressing full solidarity with Lebanon and affirming their right to respond as they see fit.
The president praised the Yemeni people for their honorable and distinguished positions in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people worldwide, particularly their continued massive turnout since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Storm battle. He hoped that the Yemeni people would continue their remarkable support for the Palestinian cause until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
He announced that the major central event usually held in Sana’a to mark the 10th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution has been canceled in solidarity with what is happening to their brothers in Gaza.
He explained that, “From its very inception, the September 21 Revolution prioritized the Palestinian cause as its central issue and the greatest injustice, from which all other injustices in our region and the Islamic world stem.
The revolution has maintained its principled and religious stance of standing with the Palestinian people, solidified by blood and enduring positions. It has prevented Israeli navigation through the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean, and has mobilized all its resources in support of the Palestinian people, in solidarity with our brothers in Palestine and Gaza. Without this revolution, normalization with the Israeli enemy entity would have been declared from Yemen, in compliance with American directives.”
He affirmed that the revolution “halted the collapse of the country’s overall situation, thwarted the project of dividing and disintegrating Yemen’s unity, and dismantling its national state.
It put an end to foreign interference in Yemen’s internal affairs, restored national sovereignty, and freed national decision-making from the control of foreign powers that were allied with and protecting corrupt and criminal forces.” He emphasized that the revolution was not a luxury, nor a power struggle, but a popular necessity and an urgent national demand imposed by the suffering endured by the Yemeni people at all levels.
Al-Mashat noted that the September 21 Revolution emerged after decades of betrayal and dependency, during which national decisions were handed over to foreign powers. These forces failed to build the Yemeni state, leaving it weak and categorized by global reports as one of the most corrupt, impoverished, and backward nations, turning Yemen into a mere backyard for entities that have no historical legitimacy.
Before the revolution
Al-Mashat discussed Yemen’s situation before the September 21 Revolution, explaining that the country experienced a systematic deterioration in all aspects of life under external supervision and local complicity.
A puppet regime without sovereignty was imposed, controlled by embassies that had no concept of red lines, leaving the country exposed at all levels. Under U.S. leadership, Yemen’s enemies restructured the military, destroyed its strategic weapons, and subjected it to treacherous strikes and bombings.
Officers were slaughtered on roadsides, suicide bombers targeted military parades and college gates, planes were shot down, and extremist groups took control of cities and large parts of some provinces. Assassinations became routine daily events, and terrorist explosions went unremarked.
He explained that the September 21 Revolution exposed the collusion between the conspiracy’s triad—the U.S. foreign influence, its tools in power, and extremist groups—and purified the country of their corruption and chaos, restoring security and stability across Yemen.
As President Al-Mashat said, “The September 21 Revolution was a completely independent and popular movement characterized by clarity of vision, the legitimacy of its goal (national sovereignty, dignity for citizens, and independence of the country), and the unity of the people’s stance, all of which led to the fall of treachery’s strongholds in record time with minimal costs.”
