Yemen’s Shura Council strongly condemned the Zionist aggression on Syrian Arab lands, which resulted in the martyrdom of 16 civilians and the injury of over 40 others.

In a statement, the Council described the Zionist attack on Syria as a blatant violation of international law and an infringement on Syria’s sovereignty. It labeled the assault as a war crime, adding to the long list of crimes and violations committed by the Zionist entity against the people of the region, particularly in Gaza.

The statement affirmed that through its continued perpetration of such crimes and escalating violations, the occupying entity seeks to drag the region into a widespread war that threatens the security and peace of the entire region.

The Shura Council pointed out that the Zionist entity’s persistence in committing crimes that violate all international laws and norms would not be possible without direct support from the US administration, Britain, and Western countries, along with the complicity of certain client states and regimes.

The Shura Council called on the UN Security Council, the UN, and affiliated international and human rights organizations to fulfill their responsibilities and break their shameful silence to stop Zionist recklessness against the region’s peoples and condemn this blatant aggression on Syria.
