A massive student and academic rally took place on Wednesday at Sana’a University, expressing strong support for the Yemeni Armed Forces’ operations deep within occupied Jaffa and standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators condemned the ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza.
Participants raised both the Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans in favor of the armed forces’ operations targeting the heart of the Israeli enemy and denouncing the genocide committed by the Zionist regime against Gaza’s residents.
The rally condemned the global silence and the shameful complicity of some Arab and Islamic nations.
The gathering, which included University President Dr. al-Qasim Abbas, vice presidents, deans of faculties, and research center heads, strongly condemned the brutal crimes of the Zionist enemy, which has carried out severe massacres, blockades, and acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, with support from the United States and some Western nations.
The participants decried the ongoing silence of the international community and the complicity of certain Arab regimes, criticizing them for failing to take serious measures to pressure Israel into halting its aggression against Gaza.
A statement issued at the rally praised the heroic and bold operation carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in the heart of the Zionist entity (occupied Jaffa) using the hypersonic missile Palestine 2, which successfully bypassed Israel’s air defenses and Iron Dome system, thanks to divine aid.
The staff and students of Sana’a University commended the hands that developed the Palestine 2 missile and expressed their readiness to support the armed forces with hundreds of engineering and military manufacturing specialists.
The demonstrators condemned Israel’s recent crime of targeting communication infrastructure in Lebanon, which resulted in the deaths of 11 people and left thousands injured.
They described this act as evidence of the Zionist regime’s persistent bloodthirstiness and disregard for humanity.
Participants emphasized that Israel’s aggressive response is proof of the confusion and the impact of the painful blows it is receiving from the Lebanese resistance.
They also praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, who are nearing a full year of enduring Israeli aggression with remarkable resilience.
The participants highlighted the heroic efforts of Palestinian fighters, whose determination has turned Israeli military vehicles into symbols of defeat.
The rally also called on students at universities around the world to continue showing solidarity with the Palestinian cause, urging them to hold rallies opposing the genocide and atrocities inflicted on the oppressed Palestinian people by the Zionist regime.
Addressing Arab and Islamic nations, the demonstrators asked: “What has happened to you, that you accept this humiliation and weakness? For nearly a year, the women and children of Gaza have been calling for you to defend your honor.
For a full year, Gaza’s children have been crying out for a piece of bread and a sip of water, while you remain silent. If these voices and this blood do not move you, what will?”
The participants called on the Yemeni people to continue their full mobilization, maintain readiness, and uphold a complete boycott of the enemies.
They also appealed to freedom-loving people around the world to stand against the genocide in Gaza.
