Taiz province was the site of significant demonstrations on Friday, with people gathering in twelve different squares to participate in mass marches titled “Birth of the Prophet of Guidance.. A call to support Gaza and Al-Aqsa.”
These marches were organized to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and to support their cause amid ongoing conflicts in Gaza and the West Bank.
The events took place across various districts in Taiz, including the main streets of Khadir district, al-Arbaeen Street in al-Taiziyah district, Nakhal bridge in Sharab al-Salam district, and al-Khazja Square for Haifan and al-Mawasit districts.
Participants strongly condemned the ongoing violence and alleged genocide being perpetrated against Palestinians, criticizing what they see as global and regional inaction.
The participants voiced their support for the Palestinian resistance and denounced the role of American and European powers in supporting the Israeli actions.
In their speeches and chants, the demonstrators emphasized the importance of continuing to support the Palestinian cause, referencing the teachings and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
They called for a renewed commitment to jihad and urged the Arab and Islamic world to take action in support of Palestine.
A statement issued at the end of the marches reaffirmed the Yemeni people’s dedication to the Palestinian cause and their determination to uphold the principles of Islam as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad.
The statement also praised recent successes against American forces and called for further resistance against perceived enemies of Islam and Palestine.
Overall, the marches were a powerful display of solidarity with Palestinians and a call for continued support and action against perceived injustices in the region.
